CJ is a gorgeous woman. A six foot tall, leggy redhead, she smiles easily, is one of those people who touches others often, and flirts with everyone. She's 40, generally self-assured, especially in the workplace, and although she gets angry...very angry...she often recovers quickly. She was born in Dayton, Ohio, but moved with her family to California. She attended UC:Berkeley, holds two Master's degrees, worked for EMILY'S List (a non-profit women's advocacy group), and worked Public Relations for a studio in Hollywood for several years before she was fired. The day she was fired, her old friend Toby Zeigler offered her a position in the Bartlet campaign...and when Bartlet won she became Press Secretary of the United States of America.
She moved on to become the Speech teacher at Fandom High, then aspired to be more.
But decisions are made by those who show up, and the real change happens at the local level. CJ has moved on. She won a campaign to be mayor of this fair city, and works hard to be a beacon of light in the darkness that is...![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif)

CJ lives in the posh L'Orinoco apartment building, in the penthouse on the thirty-eighth floor [Map Grid M12]. Located in the Strawberry Fields Burrough, her southen exposure veranda overlooks the Tam river, and affords her a view of City Hall. There is a private entrance, but very few know of its existance.
